Dear NEA community,
The deadline to apply to volunteer as Mentoring Administrator has been extended to May 22nd. This administrator, whose sole responsibility will be to the Mentoring Program, will be a member of the Membership Committee and will serve for two years.
The Mentoring Administrator will be responsible for supporting the mentoring liaisons, mentors, and mentees. S/he will study the Mentoring Task Force report and, according to its recommendations, relaunch a formalized Mentoring Program. S/he will recruit and organize the liaisons and work with the Communications Committee to promote the activities of the program. The administrator will report on all program activity to the Membership Co-Chairs and, when requested, to the NEA Executive Board.
