The Education Committee has two openings for student members. It is an exciting time to be a member of the Education Committee -- we are growing our program to be able to offer diverse and cutting edge workshops throughout New England. If you are interested in getting more involved with NEA, meeting other archivists and creating professional development opportunities, this is an ideal position for you! Some travel is necessary but expenses are reimbursed. It’s a great way to build your resume.
Duties may include:
-- Assisting education committee members with developing workshops;
-- Serving as “day of” representatives for workshops;
-- Liaising with students to survey education needs and interests;
-- Participating in any committee conference calls and/or meetings.
This is a one year position and students must be a member of NEA. If interested, please send a brief (300 words or less) statement of interest and resume to Stephanie Call, co-chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org by February 13th.
