Attention NEA Members! Join fellow New England Archivists for a tour of the New Hampshire Historical Society. Attendees are invited to learn about their collections and how they fulfill their goals to collection, preserve, and interpret materials related to New Hampshire history. This tour will highlight items from the Society’s collections, and discuss and show how the Society uses its collection through its digital and in-person programs. Registration is limited to 12 people.
Since 1823 the New Hampshire Historical Society has been preserving our state's past and telling its stories to each generation. Nowhere will you find a more extensive collection of archives and objects related to New Hampshire's history. But we aren’t just looking to the past—we also have our eyes on the future. The New Hampshire Historical Society serves thousands of people every year through our library, museum, programs, websites, publications, and exhibitions. And our school programs are teaching the next generation about history, civics, and the fundamental concepts of American government. From kids to seniors and everyone in between, the Society helps us understand who we are and why New Hampshire is a place like no other.
