Shelf Reading/Card Catalog Review

21 Edwards Street | Springfield, Massachusetts

FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2025

The Lyman and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History, known for its local history research facilities, its comprehensive program of changing exhibitions, its diverse educational offerings, and it’s wide ranging collections illuminating the history of the Connecticut River Valley. Volunteers will work on matching 1960s card catalog listings to physical books. This project will involve climbing ladders and bending down.

The museum is accessible by elevator. More information about transportation and day-of logistics will be made available to volunteers closer to the day of service.

Please contact the Program Committee at programcommittee-2@newenglandarchivists.org with any questions about volunteering.
