Past. Present. Possibilities.

Spring 2023, 50th Anniversary Meeting

Join NEA at the 2023 Spring Meeting from March 30 - April 1 in Portsmouth, NH, for “Past. Present. Possibilities.” As we celebrate NEA’s 50th anniversary, this meeting offers us a chance to come together to reflect on the history of our field and the changes it has weathered. We urge members to think about archives workers in this current moment in time: about how our work affects our social, political, and environmental worlds. And as we look to the future, we are called to consider: what are the most important challenges and opportunities in the archival field taking shape on the horizon?

For more detailed information regarding the Spring 2023 meeting, please visit the Spring Meeting page.

For workshop information, please visit our website. Please note that workshop registrations are separate from the meeting registration.

NEA members, to register online, please log-in to your existing Member Profile (in the top right of this page), to insure access to the member rate. Don't have a Member Profile password yet? Contact the NEA Membership Secretary at to receive one.

Guest tickets are for the Friday night reception only. To attend other aspects of the conference, please consider purchasing a one day or two day ticket.
Per NEA policy all presenters are extended the lowest early bird rate for which they are eligible regardless of membership status.

A note on the Unemployed/Contingently Employed Archives Workers Rates rate. The NEA Executive Board approved a special rate for the Spring 2023 Meeting for any attendee who self-identifies as unemployed or contingently employed. This is an enhancement of the previously offered bridge rage and has been expanded to cover workshop registration as well.
