New England Archivists supports the recent statements issued by NAGARA, SAA, and other archival organizations regarding the NARA closures.

Rather than issue a separate statement, NEA is affirming the positions already articulated in the joint statement from SAA, CoSA, and NAGARA⁠, as well as the statements and advocacy efforts from Chicago Area Archivists⁠ and other professional and scholarly organizations.
