The 2021 NEA Contingent Employment Study included a survey of 83 archival workers, a series of 15 follow-up interviews, and a survey of over 250 job postings. Along with the data from NEA’s 2016 study, we now have a unique set of longitudinal data about contingent employment and other labor issues in our field. Join members of the Contingent Employment Study Task Force for a presentation about the study’s findings and recommendations for NEA. There will be ample time for questions and discussion.

Now is your chance to give back and help out a fellow archivist looking to grow and develop their career. Anyone who has gone through the hiring process is qualified to advise, no matter how new you are to the profession. We are seeking knowledgeable, generous volunteers to review resumes and cover letters.
SEEKING REVIEW?
