NEA taking the past into the future

TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES

Teach for NEA! Becoming an instructor for NEA gives you the opportunity to give back to the profession, share your expertise with others, and expand your own skill sets.

Instructors can develop a half-day (4 hours) or full day (7 hours) workshop. Members request a variety of workshops and NEA looks to the community to help fill the need. Instructors are assigned a workshop planner from the Education Committee who will help walk you through the process of develop a workshop proposal.

Why teach a workshop? It’s fun, you meet a variety of other professionals in the area, and it’s a great way to build your resume. Instructors receive an honorarium and reimbursement for some expenses.

Interested in teaching? Fill out our GoogleForm and a member of the Education Committee will be in touch.
